The "Largesse" series was inspired by these tiny creatures who in being driven by their simple need for sustenance, they sustain us, not only in their service to the environment, but through their boundless energy, beauty, and whimsy. Defined as "gifts given in a generous, or sometimes showy, way", largesse is a mostly a generosity of spirit , I believe. They serve as a reminder that our own approach to the balance of surviving and thriving should strive to imbue our community with beauty. Just like the movement I hoped to convey in their flight, the smallest act of kindness carries an immeasurable vibration into the world. No matter how big you live or how big you give, just love bigger. That's it. But... isn't that enough?
